Papercut Peach is taking a road to success that uses community to the highest degree. As a young band they are still in college, with that comes a set of people who know the industry. These people seem to take a major role in the band's current stage. Frontwoman, Leah, told us she appreciates genuine feedback. Instead of empty compliments, the community around them provide criticism that the band can use.
The band seem to be aiming for greatness in a way that beacons back to an older idea of stardom. Inspiration is clear not only through their sound, but how they perform. For those of us who weren't born to see the great rock stars of the eighties, Papercut Peach might be the next best thing. They recognise that music isn't always enough. This isn't just a phenomenon that we left behind, all the biggest musicians today are performers.

Because the band is so new there live shows do have a few covers, but they certainly make them their own and make a show worth seeing. Although they are few in number their original songs are fantastic, and we are so excited for their first single to be released. They told us they love writing. Leah told us she feels like its important to take the same positive attitude to writing as you would to performing, practising, and every other element of being a musician.
The band is not all Hendrix and nostalgia, the music is a way for the band to keep going through anything life throws at you. This is especially true for guitarist and vocalist Alex, whose dad was a musician in the band Gun. After he passed Alex through himself into the music, it was a driving force for him. We can't imagine not being proud of a band that's already so fantastic despite being at just the beginning of their journey.
