When Biitchseat agreed to talk with us we were ecstatic. They are the kind of band that should be upheld as one of the indie rock greats, and probably would be if the system worked in their favour.
It's been a pretty busy year for the band, with a tour, new music, and opening for the amazing Letters to Cleo. Getting out of the Cleveland scene, and seeing more of the states has given them a wider range of fans, beyond the fragmented music scene they're used to.
Not that they have had a bad experience locally. Thanks to a curated environment, a careful selection of friends in the industry, and a clear idea of what they stand for in their music, Biitchseat has created a positive space.
As you might have heard, in their new single Evil, the band are expanding their sound. They are exploring more pop sounds, taking advantage of more technology.
Old timers don't have to be worried about too much change, they promised any future music will keep the same heart in their music. Continuing to channel “True Biitchseat”
That future music may be coming sooner than we could hope. Both women brimming with creative energy, ready to be channelled into art. Much of this energy they credited to life getting a little harder.
While life continues to get a little harder across the world the band had two messages for you:
"Look out for each other"
"Check in on the people you love"
